This recipe is pretty flexible as long as the liquid is double the oats. The versatility of add-ins is unlimited: try frozen fruit, diced apples, flaxseed, coconut shavings, raisins, etc. Adjust the spices and sweetener to your liking.
I make a large batch and reheat it for the next few days. It reheats beautifully.
Ingredients
3 cups oats (use gluten free if you avoid gluten)
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
3 tsp Stevia or 1/4 brown sugar
6 cups liquid (I usually break this down to 3 cups unsweetened almond milk and 3 cups water)
Ready for this! Generously spray your crock pot with cooking spray. Dump all ingredients in your crock pot before you go to bed. Turn crock pot on WARM. Brace yourself for the high fives from your family in the morning for having breakfast ready to go!
